Dr. Lihua Zhang, PhD, OMD created the Dr. Zhang's / Herbalmax formulas based on 26 years of research and clinical practice. Before arriving in the United States, Dr. Zhang was a highly regarded researcher specializing in herbal pharmacology and traditional Chinese medicine at one of the premiere traditional Chinese medical universities in China. Dr. Zhang has authored and co-authored over 30 scientific articles as well as two books. As one of very few scholars of both herbal pharmacology and Chinese medicine, Dr. Zhang is able to bridge both disciplines, bringing advanced scientific knowledge of herbal products to the American public. After seeing the benefits derived by her many patients over the years, Dr. Zhang decided to make the Herbalmax formulas available to the general public.
