Description

All tea comes from the leaves and buds of the plant – Camellia sinensis.The individual character of each tea is a result of the region it was grownin, the part of the plant used, and the processing methods utilized. Greentea is heated early to preclude oxidation. The leaves are pan-fried orsteamed to retain their color and nutrients. Green teas are derived fromyoung buds and leaves plucked in early spring through summer and its tasteis mild and delicate. Traditional Japanese Green Tea is steamed and driedwithout any oxidation. It produces a light-green infusion with a mild taste.

Suggested Use

IN A CUP – Pour fresh boiling water over teabag in a cup; steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on desired strength.

IN A POT – Warm the teapot by rinsing it with hot water. Place one teabag for each cup in the pot. Pour fresh boiling water over the teabag; steep for 3-5 minutes depending on desired strength.

ICE TEA – Use 6 teabags for each quart of boiling water. Steep in a teapot for 5 minutes. Add sugar if desired. Pour into glasses filled with ice. Oolong tea does not require sugar, milk or lemon.
