This search engine tool works similar to Google or Yahoo. Simply type in your search terms, press the ENTER button on your keyboard, or click on the little magnifying glass icon.
You may also use AND, OR or "" qualifiers. For example, red AND ginseng or simply red ginseng would generate products whose names or descriptions contain both Red and Ginseng. Note that when AND is used, the search words can be found anywhere in the product names or descriptions and need not be together. If you're getting too many search results and you want to search for the words Red and Ginseng only when they're together, you may surround the search term with quotes (i.e. "Red Ginseng"). You may also use the OR qualifier to expand the search results (i.e. red OR ginseng). Since any product with eitherred or ginseng would be returned, the search results will be much larger.
TIP: If you're getting too many search results, try adding search terms (i.e. shou wu pian or "shou wu pian" instead of just shou). If you're getting too few search results, you may have misspelled a search term (many Chinese formulas have multiple spellings!). Try using fewer search terms or truncating the search term (i.e. if you were searching for "dao chi wan", and mistakenly misspelled dao by entering dow chi wan, your product wouldn't display. However, if you instead entered just chi wan, you would be able to find your product in a longer list.)
