Suggested Use
Adults and children 12 years of age and older: 2 tablets every 4 hours, while symptoms persist, not to exceed 6 doses (12 tablets) in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor.
Children 6 to under 12 years of age: 1 tablet every 4 hours, while symptoms persist, not to exceed 5 doses (5 tablets) in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor.
Children 6 to under 12 years of age: consult a doctor.

Do not use for more than 10 days (for adults) or 5 days (for children).Do not use if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (a type of drug for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping an MAOI drug.
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
- glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid disease, high fever, a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, or difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before you use if you are taking sedatives or tranquilizers or if you don't know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI.
When using this product:
- Do not exceed recommended dosage.
- May cause excitability, especially in children.
- May cause drowsiness (alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase this effect).
- Avoid alcoholic beverages.
- Use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
- Symptoms do not improve.
- Symptoms are accompanied by fever that lasts more than 3 days.
- You experience nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness, or new symptoms.
- You have a severe sore throat or one that lasts for more than 2 days.
- Symptoms are accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, nausea, or vomiting.
In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
